Saltburn is deep in history, dating back to the Victorian times, and attracts individuals to it’s pier, beach, valley gardens.
The Beacon is very well situated for all amenities shops pubs restaurants and the sea front. We had a ground floor room which was immaculate in both decor and modern furnishings. The bathroom had a large shower and was very roomy and nicely decorated.

Great full english breakfast. Unbelievable price for Bank Holiday Weekend. I Will definitely recommend family and friends and use again if im in the area.
For the money, the Beacon Hotel was excellent value. It was clean, comfortable and quieter than I expected, given it is located in the centre of Redcar. One big positive was the quality televisions in each room - Channels included Netflix - something that 5 star hotels i've stayed in don't offer.

The town and it's Northern Quater boasts a range of excellent restaurants, cafes, and bars, serving up delicious Italian, Indian and Thai cusine. There are plenty of traditional pubs, trendy micro-pubs, independent coffee shops and regular markets. Not forgetting the famous lemon top ice cream!
